Teamwork & Collaboration: Not Just for the Workplace

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.

I recently had the opportunity to be a guest on the Matt Townsend Show on Sirius Radio.  Matt Townsend is a communication and relationship expert who is known as one of America’s top presenters in the field of Human Relations and Development.  During my time on the radio show, which was geared toward why being a teamplayer is important, we focused on 3 areas:

1. Why is being a team player important?

2. Application in the Workplace:

  • How to lead different generations
  • “Boardroom tips”

3. Application in Personal Life

  • Why collaboration is important
  • How to use for HOAs, PTAs & community groups

I had a great time talking with Matt about how we can use the teambuilding and collaboration skills we acquire in the workplace to transform our personal lives.  Most of us leave that wonderful skill back in our workplace and then forget how applicable it can be in our personal life.

I would love for you to listen in on the radio show below and provide some feedback on additional ways you apply teamwork and collaboration skills into your everyday life.
