Career Check-In: Are You Blossoming In Your Career?

The career of a sage is of two kinds: He is either honored by all in the world, Like a flower waving its head, Or else he disappears into the silent forest.

Does the thought of going back to work on Monday fill you with discontent on Sunday or even keep you up all night?  Do you find yourself putting on a fake smile while at work, silently asking yourself if there isn’t something else that you could be doing?  Or do you find yourself full of deep longing to being doing what you love, but just not knowing how to go about it?

Well, then look no further.  I had the honor of interviewing Jennifer Anderson, also known as the “Queen of Career Epiphanies,”  and author of Career Epiphany!  Coach Jen’s Guide to Discovering Your Perfect Work, as well as the upcoming book Plant Yourself Where You Will Bloom.  She is a self-proclaimed “High Tech Refugee,” and has spent the last 15 years teaching thousands of people the concepts of real career happiness.  She has coached hundreds of people down the garden path to discovering their perfect work.

Jennifer and I spent 15 minutes talking about her new book to be launched on Amazon on October 8, as well as issues facing those struggling in Corporate America, along with possible solutions.  Watch this video to find out how your career is just like a garden and some simple ways you can tend to it for massive blossoming.
As you can see, I had a lot of fun during the interview!  Let’s be honest – if we’re not having fun in our career or workplace and feeling that we aren’t loving what we do, it’s time for pulling some weeds out of the garden.

Thank you, as always, for reading, watching and joining in the conversation!  If you’d like to find out more about Jennifer, here is how you can easily contact her.
